Rental is for a maximum of 11 people. Infants can be accommodated with prior notice.

So that you may enjoy a clean home for your vacation, we regret that pets and smoking are prohibited in our home. We love pets too, but cannot allow them due to concern for allergies.

Check-in/out

Check-in 4:00 PM on Saturdays - no early check-ins

Check-out 10:00 AM on Saturdays - no late check-outs

Damage deposit, cleaning fee, and Maine 8% sales tax are extra.

The rates are negotiable for visits during the off-peak season, based on occupancy and number of nights.

Payment Terms

A refundable $500 deposit is required to hold a reservation. The deposit will be refunded within 14 days after checkout if property was not damaged.
50% of fee is due immediately
50% of fee is due 60 days prior to check-in
A signed rental agreement, deposit of $500, and 50% of rental fee are required to hold a reservation date.

Cancellation Policy

More than 60 days in advance of check-in date: full refund of deposit and rental fee paid to date
Less than 60 days in advance of check-in date: full forfeit of reservation deposit and rental deposits
Why 60 days? If you're looking at this page, it's because you are traveling with 9 or more people in two or three families. When you're planning six months in advance, it's hard for you to coordinate time off from work, school, camps, and so on. It's even harder to get two or three families to commit to a "spur-of-the-moment" trip to Downeast Maine. And so we don't get last-minute bookings which might compensate for a last-minute cancellation. Please plan your dates carefully, and get the cash from your other traveling companions when the agree to the trip.
